Riva Bingo Clubs, owned by Mayfair Bingo Ltd, acquired the Heaton and Welbeck
clubs from Heaton Enterprises in early November 2002.
The acquisition was funded by existing company profit and brings the total of New Riva Bingo clubs to six, with
more planned for this year.

Brian Fraser, who owns the company, said he was delighted to acquire these
businesses and, in particular, the highly successful Heaton Club where there are plans to create a large flat floor in
the lower level.
The Heaton club was previously owned by Chris Clavering and his family, who had operated it
for the past 50 years |
